Brian Vincel grew up in Greene County where he often helped his grandfather on their nearby cattle farm. Work on the farm taught him much about farming but even more about dedication and hard work. Brian developed a passion for golf at an early age and began working at Greene Hill County Club at the age of 14. It was here that he was introduced to the field of turfgrass science. Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sounds like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest.
After completing 2 years at George Mason University on a golf scholarship he transferred to Virginia Tech and graduated with a Degree in Crop, Soils and Environmental Science. After Graduation Brian built and managed numerous golf facilities around the state of Virginia. Eventually, he returned to Central Virginia in 2005 to build Spring Creek Golf Club.
After a 25 year career in the golf industry, Brian sought out a new direction and began exploring the world of Hemp. After a coincidental meeting on the farm after a tremendous wind storm, Brian assisted Ricky and Lorrie Bryant in the staking of many of their plants. It was here their relationship began and soon a partnership was formed between the two friends. From there, the idea of Hemisphere farms developed, and together they vowed to provide the highest quality hemp products to those in need.
